I use AI tools to create illustrations that breathe life into stories from my memory. These visual stories find their place in my carefully curated digital album on Instagram.
Two years ago, after Pornceptual, I found myself waiting for a taxi near the gate on Kyrylivska Street. Two young women took a seat on a bench by the bus stop, exuding a striking beauty tinged with a sense of despair. Without exchanging a single word, they both began to weep. Their embrace tightened with each passing moment. Suddenly, a young man across the street took notice. Wordlessly, he rushed over and joined the embrace. I stood there, transfixed and frozen. I didn’t know what could I do. I didn’t know what happened in their lives. But for me, it was a premonition of inevitable events. January 2022

Since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, my home village has been under occupation, forcing my family to prioritise their own safety and leave. Nevertheless, my dreams constantly bring me back to this village, where part of my memories - from childhood to adolescence - remained at the disposal of the occupiers.
Mostly, these dreams take the form of nightmares, characterized by a sense of helplessness and the impossibility of escape. Only once have I glimpsed life there, a fleeting vision created by wild beasts within the expansive confines of a local, unfinished building.
Inspired by Andrzej Żuławski’s film “On the Silver Globe”. All objects are interpretations of my dreams and were created using Midjourney v.6.
